Too-Tall and his friends make Sister scared about going to the 3rd grade because they had bad memories. One day, Milton Chubb, a new cub at Bear Country School, is teased because he doesn't excel in the sports Brother's good at, but Brother soon sets him up with Coach Grizzmeyer when he finds out that wrestling is Milton's best sport. When Mama opens a quilt shop in an old store, Papa, Brother, and Sister have to adjust to this change, as they are left in charge of doing Mama's chores.īrother is endlessly teased by Too-Tall and his friends because of him being talented in soccer, basketball, and baseball. Mama then schedules the cubs a dentist appointment. Brother, however, has a toothache of his own after eating a piece of candy too hard. Sister wakes up one morning with a loose tooth and shows it to Brother, who then tells her that the dentist will yank her tooth out, scaring her. He hides it from Mama and Papa until Gramps teaches him about learning from his mistakes.
